Everyone experiences difficulties in their lives and may turn to friends,
relatives and colleagues for advice, guidance and emotional support . This
helps them not only to find solutions to their current difficulties but
hopefully enables them to deal with future difficulties more effectively.
For many, however, they find comfort for a while then find themselves
facing the same difficulties all over again, when this happens repeatedly
they begin to wonder what is going on. Analytical psychotherapy provides a
framework within which individuals can, in the context of a professional
relationship, explore the difficulties they face in their lives, gain a
better understanding of what is going on and use this understanding to
open up new ways of making sense of things, thus fostering emotional and
psychological growth.
